Buddha in Real Life

Buddha was a person. By elaborately practise, he became enlightened in this life.  Mainly his deeds - compassion - discernment have directed him to everyone, who come to Buddha as a common sense from natural character in  constant purity. Buddha claimed by himself that there had been lots of Buddhas before him, right now from this life, Buddha is existed, so will the future. You have to establish the belief around yourself, Buddha always exist next to you. He is the existence of a being who was enlightened as the Buddha. We are also people, who know how to pratice by heart, transform the mind, will certainly become enlightened beings as Buddha.

Shakyamuni Buddha

From childhood , none of us has not heard magical tales from mother when we were young. Night after night, we saw gentle Buddha appears in fairy dreams.

 

Childhood passed,  we grew up and intergrated with life, imaging that Buddha in Tam Cam fairytale, Thang Bom story, the hundred-knot bamboo on someday disappear....Not so, Buddha still appears in normal life in the relationship of human reality. You still meet and approach many gentle people as Buddha, wise as Buddha, brave as Buddha,  generally full of compassion - discernment materials , longevity Buddha. Not yet, go anywhere, do anything even hard or not, you have been all reminding “good will”, “Buddha mind” by people! Realizing that “goodwill” , “Buddha mind” , “Buddha at heart” is only one, have Buddha in heart which is enough to live all life, peace and dwell in life without being dorminant from life flow. The following story is about the Master is always beside of us.

 

 

Once Buddha stayed overnight in the workshop of  a potter. There was a young monk who had come before Him. After observing and seeing that he was an intelligent guy, Buddha asked : - Hey, brother, who makes you abandoned your family for? Who is your master ? Whose Drama do you admire?

 

- Dear friend, there is Gautama Buddha, Shakyamuni line who gets renunciation as Sramana. People told that he was an enlightened Buddha, deliverance completely. In the name of  him, I became a Sramana. He is my master.

-Where is he now?

- He was at Savatthi, a place in the north.

- I have never met him and will not regconize him if I see him.  

Buddha understood that because he knew Gauttama reputation so that he became a Sramana. Buddha had not shown Buddha identity, He said :

 

- Hey, brother, I will preach for you.

- Well, dear friend!

 

Buddha instantly preached for young monk an important sermon about emptiness essence of the so-called selfness and of selfness by analyzing elements of planet and predominant that suited for skandha of people, aiming at breaking the acceptance to reach Nirvana in peace.

  

By that, we see Buddha as a person, who thanks elaborately practise, Buddha became enlightened in middle of this life. Mainly his deeds - compassion - discernment have directed him to everyone, who come to Buddha as a common sense from natural character of constant purity. Buddha claimed by himself that there had been lots of Buddhas before him, rightnow from this life, and the future after Buddha, there are going to many Buddhas. So, you have to establish the belief around us, Buddha always exist next to ourselves. He is the existence  of people, who have enlightened and become Buddha. We are also people, who know how to pratice by heart, transform the mind, will certainly become enlightened as Buddha. Considering  Brahmin Dona with Buddha story, you will think Buddha is very closed to us. Buddha is not a fairy, not Gandhabba, Yaksa or from the other kinds that are strange to human:

 - “Most Honored One, re you will be a fairy, You will be Gandhabba, You will be Yaksa, You will be person. With four questions, Buddha replied in turn: I will not fairy, I will not Gandhabba, I will not Yaksa, I will not human.” This answer is also enough to prove transcendent of man’s realization, enough to liberation of deadlock from the limited mind of immortalized human.  Because if Buddha replied that. “I will be Devas..., or I will be a human” mean Buddha have to be reborn, be samsara and damnation. Thus, Brahmin asked : “What is the basic of Buddha practise, and What will Honourable One be?”. Buddha declared himself honestly as follow :

- Well Brahmin, with those who are total extinction of  defilements, I will be Devas, with defilement or annihilation, which is cut off from the root, is made as Tala tree, is made nonexistency, is unable to arise in the future. Well Brahmin, with those who are not total extinction of  defilements, I can be Gandhabba, I can be human, with defilement or annihilation, which is cut off from the root, is made as Tala tree, is made nonexistency, is unable to arise in the future

Here, Buddha affirmed that depending on the mind of beings mentioned, Buddha will embody. The diffirent thing between Buddha and beings is Buddha is total extinction of defilements. With Devases have not eradicate defilements yet, Buddha is a Devas who is extinction of  defilements. This is the background of belief that we can close to Master to study sermon, practise sermon - enlightened as Buddha, The problem posed for us to live in this real life is how we need to take the path of practise to right with Drama. In this way, Buddha in the heart of everyone appears rightly in this life, in loving house or alley, on the road from urban to end of rural outback.

It seems that you must really return to your life by following the Buddha, following Drahma, following monk. Following the Buddha is walk to the Buddha character innherent in yourself. Only like that, you can present, worship, familiar and above all be living with Buddha at your heart in life turbulent flow. Then all illusion requests, distant desire are not mean anything when you cross your hand prayer before Three Jewels.  

 

   

   At this point, you plainly understand Buddha. He is not far away, He appears rightly in your heart. Living with Buddha, eating Buddha’s rice, living in Buddha’s house are very simple, very easy. Just as you to unfold your heart, coexist with everyone around by infinite kindness, immeasurable compassion, immeasurable muditapramana, immeasurable Upeksapramana, you will see Buddha appear beside you day by day, night by night. To be like that, Buddha was born in the heart of each person,  each hour, each minute eyesight, smiling full of faithful happiness and peace.
