Attending the inauguration ceremony of Kenh Giua Bridge in Hon Dat Kien Giang

On the morning of March 25th, 2023, Junior Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda came Hon Dat, Kien Giang to inaugurate Kenh Giua bridge through Tam Ngan canal, connecting 2 communes of Binh Giang - Binh Son. The bridge is contributed by the temple Charity Board, benefactors inside and outside the commune.

This meaningful Project is built according to rural road standards, reinforced concrete structure; The bridge has three spans, 65 meters long, 4.5 meters wide, 2.5 tons to ensure easy passage of vehicles with a total cost of nearly 4 billion.

Currently, the bridge has been completed after 4 years of quality construction and put into use. This is a civil service project that has a great influence on the lives of the people here. In particular, students can easily cross the bridge in the rainy season and connect two banks of the Tam Ngan canal.

The ceremony was attended by Junior Thich Tam Hue; Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda; Mr. Duong Minh Tam, Chairman of Hon Dat District (P.C) People's Committee; Mr. Le Van Tien, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Giang Commune; Mr. Nguyen Van Phat, Vice Chairman of Binh Giang Commune P.C; Mr. Vo Thanh Hong, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Giang Commune; Mr. Huynh Van Co, directs the bridge construction.

On behalf of the District Party Committee, Mr. Duong Minh Tam thanked the great attention and contributions of Hoang Phap Pagoda Charity Board, benefactors for the residents in particular, and Hon Dat district in general. Next, Mr. Duong Minh Tam, Mr. Nguyen Van Phat presented Certificates of Merit, medals and Certificates of Thanks to the Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda. At the same time, Mr. Tam respectfully expressed his gratitude to Most Master and Junior Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda for allowing monks and Buddhists to attend the bridge inauguration, and support for the construction of the bridge with no. money 255,000,000 VND (Two hundred and fifty-five million VND).

This occasion, Junior Thich Tam Hue presented gifts of books for Mr Duong Minh Tam, district and commune leaders, teachers, Mr-Ms, and members in the Youth Union, such as: Mouth Karma, Practice at home, little Elephant of filial piety, Buddhist Lessons, merit Repayment for Parents, Little boy novice Saves Ant, A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh; Buddha necklaces, a string of beads for wrist.

The inauguration ceremony was successfully completed to the joy of the mass.

On the way back to Hoang Phap pagoda, the group bought some moorhens and then released them in Dong Thap, along with 2 Giant Asian pond turtles to hand over at Dau Tieng Wildlife Conservation Station, Binh Duong.
