Almsgiving to Retreat school, Vinh Long province

In the morning of July 19th 2014 (Lunar June 26th, Horse year) under the permission of the Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and the Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda as well as doctors of Ho Chi Minh and Can Tho city came to Son Thang pagoda - a Junior Buddhist college in Vinh Long province. Giac Thien pagoda, Phat Ngoc pagoda to alms donate retreat school and help Monks and Nuns in Vassa (Monsoon-season Retreat) with pure things including rice, noodle, cooking oil, sugar, money and some sutra books, discs for their study. Then the doctors examined in-placed monks and a number of local people.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, on behalf of the\r\ndelegation, had thanks to in -placed monks who created a condition for lay\r\npeople to show their sincere feelings to them in the Monsoon-season Retreat the\r\nyear. In addition, the Venerable Group has also guided to release fish blessing\r\ndedication to ancestors and living parents. Nearly 2.5 tons of fish were\r\nreturned to natural water.

The next morning 20th, July, 2014,  the Junior\r\nVenerable guided the Supportive Recitation  Board for the Dying and\r\nlocal Buddhists made offering in pious intent to all the monks of Hoang Phap\r\npagoda who have been being in the Vassa (Monsoon-season Retreat). The Buddhists\r\nwere very happy because Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dao Pagoda had some words to\r\nmotivate and encourage Buddhists on Buddhist study ‘s path by:

Durable Buddha-dharma was Buddhist-truth proclaimed widely\r\nby the Sangha.

Flourishing monastery was non-profit initiated by\r\nkind-hearted people.
