2nd-turn "Water Drops of Loving" Program to people of Binh Dai district, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province

Junior Thich Tam Hue - Head of the Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda led 40 Buddhists to continue the second turn of "Water Drops of Loving" journey to residents of Giong Trom district and Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province on May 25th, 2024.

The delegation donated 400 bottles of pure water (19 liters) to 200 poor and near-poor households with a total cost of 44,000,000 VND in Thanh Phuoc commune, Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province.

At Hoa Loi hamlet, Luong Hoa commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province, the group donated 1,260 bottles of pure water (19 liters) to 630 poor and near-poor households. Total cost was 138,600,000 VND.

Junior Thich Tam Hue donated 100,000,000 VND to support the cost of installing water pipes in Hoa Loi hamlet, Luong Hoa commune (Total installation cost is about 1.2 billion VND, including pressure boosting system).

Next, monks and Buddhists donated 400 bottles of pure water (19 liters) to 200 poor, near-poor households, and victims of Agent Orange in Hung Phong commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province.

Hoang Phap Pagoda Charity Board donated a total of 2,060 pure water bottles (19 liters) to people in Binh Dai district, Giong Trom district and supported the cost of building water pipes in Luong Hoa commune with a total amount of 326,600,000 VND in this second turn. Hoang Phap Pagoda supported 203,000,000 VND, FUJIWA alkaline ionized water company supported 123,600,000 VND. Contributing to the achievements of the trips, Minh Xuong 968 company supports transportation fees for this turn of 27,000,000 VND.

The monks presented dharma gifts to the Officials of Luong Hoa and Hung Phong communes, including: the comic book The Life of Buddha Shakyamuni, Cultivation at home, A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery... composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh.
