Visit the funeral Buddhist Dieu Nguyet

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and the monks and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda came to No108 Cai Khe, Ninh Kieu, Can Tho to visit the funeral of Buddhist Nguyen Thi Nga (Dharma name Dieu Nguyet) on Oct. 11th, 2020 (lunar Aug. 25th, Year of Mouse).

Reportedly, Buuddhist Dieu Nguyet has got a serious illness and passed away on Oct. 10th, 2020 (lunar Aug. 24th, Year of Mouse), lived 64 years old.

The rite praying for rebirth was witnessed by Senior Ven. Thich Phuoc Dung, Senior Ven.  Thich Thong Hanh, Senior Ven. Thich Chieu Thuong, Senior Ven. Thich Chieu Nhon, Junior Ven. Thich Tam An, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Danh, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Due and monks at Hoang Phap pagoda, monks and nuns at the Can Tho Buddhist Intermediate School and Buddhists inside and outside Can Tho city.

The delegation and family sincerely chanted the sutra, recited the Buddha's name, and vowed to dedicate the merit for her spirit early being born to the peaceful realm of Buddha Amitabha.

Next, the cremation rite for Buddhists Dieu Nguyet took place at Son Trang Tien Canh, Tam Vu, Hau Giang on Oct. 12th, 2020 (August 26, Year of Mouse).

By this way, Senior Ven. Thich Chieu Thuong, Abbot of Tu Thien pagoda praised the spirit of filial piety of descendants. He also advised all relatives during 49 days after her death, all should do good deeds, practice vegetarianism, recite the Buddha's name, charity etc,. to transfer these merits to her soul early attaining deliverance.  Moreover, all members should unite, love, help together, instruct the relatives to rely on the Three Jewel.

After that, Buddhist Dieu Nguyet's family decided to pour ashes of the recently deceased in Can Tho.

In the afternoon, the delegation had a trip releasing creatures at Hau Giang, Can Tho.
