Visit Buddhist Lien Dung's Funeral in District 7

Under the instruction from Most Abbot Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hue, the monks and Buddhists came to District 7, HCMC to pay respects, light incense to the funeral of Mrs Dao Thi Loc (dharma name Lien Dung) on March 10th, 2022 (Feb. 08th, Year of the Tiger).

She passed away on March 09th, 2022, aged 96 years old in life.

The Monks, Buddhists and family respectfully chanted the sutras, recited the Buddha's name, and vowed to bring merit to return her spirit to be born early in the peaceful realm.

At the funeral, Junior Thich Tam Hue praised the family's gratitude and repayment and then advised during 49 days after her death, the family should create many good deeds, eat vegetarian meals, recite Buddha's name, release creatures, charity; all family members should unite, love, and help together, etc,... to transfer these merit to her soul.

On this occasion, monks gave dharma gifts, including the books "Lessons for Buddhists", “Good Examples in the West and East”,… and other gifts to members in their family. The family should obey dharma teachings, remember and recite the Buddha name to have a happy and peaceful family.

The Representative of the family paid her gratitude to the master, who permitted monks visiting, chanting sutra and seeing off their relatives to the resting place.

The coffin was buried at Hoang Phap pagoda cemetery, Hoc Mon, HCMC on March 12th, LC.
