The rite praying for rebirth in Vinh Long

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, the monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda came to Tan Phuoc Hamlet, Tan Binh, Binh Tan, Vinh Long on Sep. 24th, 25th, 2020 (Aug. 08th , 09th, Year of Mouse) to make offering to the Sangha, praying for rebirth to Mrs Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep (Dharma name Ngoc Hanh).

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep got seriously sick of old age and passed away on Sep. 22th, 2020, and lived to 67 years old.

The Monks, Buddhists and family respectfully chanted the sutras, recited the Buddha's name, and vowed to bring merit to return the spirit to be born early in the peaceful realm of Amitabha Buddha.

At the rite, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue praised the gratitude and repayment of her family. He advised in time of 49 days, all relatives should do merit such as offering to the Three Jewels, helping the poor, printing sutra, releasing creatures, repenting mistakes, etc, … and then transferring these merit to the soul early attaining deliverance. Moreover, all members should unite, love, help together, instruct the relatives to rely on the Three Jewel. Her coffin was buried at the family's land in Vinh Long.

On this occasion, monks sent gifts of dharma, including the books "Lessons for Kids", “A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery” and other gifts to family members and burial team.

Accordingly, the delegation had a trip releasing creatures at Long Ong River, Tan Binh, Binh Tan, Vinh Long.
