The rite praying for peace and rebirth in District 8, HCMC

Receiving the invitation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda came to District 8, Ho Chi Minh City to pray rebirth for the spirit of Nguyen Thi Xinh (Dharma name Hoa Diep) on July 17th, 2020 (May 27th, Year of Mouse).

Previously, the delegation went to the house to pray for peace to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xinh, 79 years old in a serious illness.

She passed away on July 19th, 2020, and lived her life at 79 years old.

The delegation chanted sutra, recited the Buddha's name, released creatures and vowed to transfer these merits to her soul being born early in the peaceful realm. 

At the rite, Monk showed condolences to her family. He advised all relatives in 49 days should unite, love, help together, eat vegetarian meals, recite the Buddha name, not kill creatures, do all merit, instruct the funeral observance, and then transfer these merits for her soul attaining early deliverance. At the same time, he also reminded her soul to let go of attachment, one mindful of reciting Buddha's name, praying for Pure Land.
