The rite offering for Monks to pray for rebirth in Hoc Mon, HCMC

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, the monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda came to Doctor Hiep in Hoc Mon on Sep. 26th, 2020 (lunar Aug. 10, Year of Mouse) to receive offering the monks, praying for rebirth to Mrs Lam Thi Lieu (Dharma name Lien Lieu).

Mrs Lam Thi Lieu got seriously sick of old age and passed away on Aug. 10th, 2019, and lived her life at 83 years old. Today is the first of her death anniversary, the family invited the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda to make offerings, liberate the creatures and dedicate merit to spirit Lien Lieu.

Junior Ven. Thich Dao Quang as Buddhist Lecturer at the Buddhist Intermediate and Primary School praised the spirit of filial piety and repayment of the family’s descendants.

The Monks, Buddhists and family respectfully chanted the sutras, recited the Buddha's name and vowed to bring merit to return the spirit to be born early in the peaceful realm of Amitabha Buddha.

Doctor Hiep, the representative of his family, paid tribute to the delegation for supporting the ceremony to pray rebirth for his mother and pray for peace for his father.

On this occasion, monks sent gifts of dharma, including the books "Lessons for Kids", “A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery” and other gifts.

The serene and solemn rite was fully attained in the joy of the mass.
