The praying ceremony for rebirth and releasing creatures in Hoc Mon.

Receiving the invitation of Doctor Hiep, on Oct. 26th, 2019 (Sep.28th, lunar calendar), the Monks and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda came to the house to receive offering the Sangha, praying for the rebirth of Mrs. Lam Thi Lieu (Dharma name Lien Lieu) who died on Aug. 10, LC, aged 81 year old.

On the day of seven-week offering, the Monks, Buddhists and the family had  chanting sutra, reciting the Buddha and transferring these merit to her soul early being born to a peaceful realm.

At next, Venerable had a few words to the family. Losing  of a mother is a huge suffering for the family, so the members should be accompany to transform together general karma. For humans, all mistakes are from ignorance that caused, from craving that formed, from the hatred that arose.

Thus, Ven. reminded the family, let us use faith (faith), precepts (good deeds, avoid evil), giving (abandon) and wisdom (understanding) with love and respect to encourage parents turning to the Triple Gem, abandoning bad actions doing good things which helps gain happiness to the parents not only in this life but also to the next life.

In the afternoon, the delegation came the family of Ms. Xoan and Mr. Hung at Go Vap district, praying peace for the family, then had a trip freeing creatures at Cu Chi.
