The Plan of Charity and Freeing Creatures in Oct. and Nov. in 2019

Dear the good men Buddhists and believing women Buddhists!

In Oct. and Nov. in 2019, the charity Board of Hoang Phap pagoda will have the charity trips following:

1. On Oct. 9th, 2019 (lunar Sep. 11th, the year of the Pig):

- Handing over the house of charity to Mr. Nguyen Van Sau Nho and Ms. Vo Ngoc Hoa in Dong An 2 hamlet, Tan Thanh, Nga Bay town, Hau Giang with the following items: 1 set of tables and chairs, 1 altar, 1 bed, with an amount of 65,000,000 VND.

- Donating 50,000,000 VND to build a charity house to Mr. Tran Ngoc Canh in Phu Tri B, Phu Huu, Nga Bay town, Hau Giang.

2. Oct. 20th, 2019 (lunar Sep. 22nd, the year of the Pig):

One day Cultivation of reciting the Buddha name at Minh Chat retreat, Can Tho.

3. Oct. 27th, 2019 (Sep. 29th, the year of the pig):

- Freeing creatures at Hau Giang and Ben Tre rivers.

- Offerings to pure materials and money at Quoc Thoi Pagoda, Cho Lach, Ben Tre, by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung abbot.

4. Nov. 13th, 2019 (lunar Oct. 17th the year of the pig):

- The trip freeing creatures at Co Bac ferry in Can Tho.

5. From Nov. 15th – 24th, 2019 (Oct. 19th – 28th, LC):

- The Charity Board at Hoang Phap Pagoda organized gift giving and offering to Three Jewels in Binh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Hue, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh ...

6. Nov.15th, 2019 (Oct. 19th, Lunar Calendar)

Offering Three Jewels at Ngoc Dinh Temple (Bui Thi Xuan, Binh Dinh).

7. Nov.17th, 2019 (Oct. 21st, LC):

- Offering to Dong Cao pagoda in Thanh Hoa was managed by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung as the abbot.

Attending a one-day retreat at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa.

- Offering the Sakyamuni Buddha statue, made of Doussie Wood, 6 meters high, weighing 4 tons, worth 700,000,000 VND, the statue is put at Dong Cao pagoda.

- Offering 200 gift portions to 200 poor, near poor and Agent Orange victims in Thanh Hoa. Each gift was worth 250,000 VND, including rice, vegetarian noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, clothes, Buddha necklace, string of beads ... The total amount of 200 gifts is 50,000,000 VND.

- Freeing creatures in Nga Son, Thanh Hoa.

8. Nov. 18th, 2019 (Oct. 22nd, LC):

- An rite of offering a meal and alms for monks at the home of Ms. Pham Thi Ty, Nam Duong, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh.

- The trip freeing creatures at Do De, Nam Duong, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh. 

9. Nov. 19th, 2019 (Oct. 23rd, LC):

- Offering 350 gift portions to 350 poor, near-poor and disabled people in Nam Duong, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh. Each gift is worth 250,000 VND, including rice, vegetarian noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, clothes ... The total amount of 350 gifts is 87,500,000 VND.

-Giving 251 gift ones to 251 blind people in Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh. Each gift is worth 165,000 VND, including 10 kg of rice, 1 envelope worth 50,000 VND, 1 Buddha necklace, 1 string of beads. The total amount of 250 gifts is 41,415,000 VND.

- Offering 150 gift portions in Nam Cuong, Nam Truc and Nam Dinh. Each one worth 250,000 VND includes rice, vegetarian noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, clothes, Buddha necklaces, strings of beads ... The total gift of 150 ones is 37,500,000 VND.

10. Nov. 20th, 2019 (Oct. 24th, LC):

- Offering to Tay Khanh pagoda, Kien Xuong, Thai Binh.

- Giving 300 gift ones to 300 poor and near poor people at Tay Khanh Pagoda, Thai Binh. Each gift is worth 250,000 VND, including rice, vegetarian noodles, cooking oil, soy sauce, clothes ... The total amount of 300 gifts is 75,000,000 VND.

- The trip freeing creature at Thai Binh river.

- Offering, pure objects and money at Tam Chuc Pagoda in Ha Nam, Nam Dinh.

11. November 21, 2019 (on Oct. 25th, LC)

- Offering to Giai Lam pagoda in Ha Tinh is managed by Junior Ven. Thich Tam Nguyen.

- The trip freeing creature at Ke Go Lake, Ha Tinh.

12. Nov. 22nd, 2019 (Oct. 26th, LC)

- Visiting Phong Nha cave in Quang Binh, Buddhists pay an extra fee to buy sightseeing tickets.

- Offering 300 gift ones to 300 blind and cerebral palsy people in Quang Dien, Hue. Each gift is worth 165,000 VND, including 10 kg of rice, 1 envelope of 50,000 VND, 1 Buddha chain, 1 string of beads. The total amount of 300 gift ones is 49,500,000 VND.

- The trip freeing creature at Huong River.

13. Nov. 24th, 2019 (Oct. 28th, LC):

- Offering pure objects to Hong Phap pagoda in Binh Thuan was managed by Ven. Thich Tam Vien.

- Offering 200 gift ones to 200 poor and nearly poor people at Hong Phap Pagoda. Each gift is worth 275,000 VND including 10 kg of rice, 1 barrel of vegetarian noodles, 1 shirt, 1 envelope 50,000 VND, 1 Buddha necklace, 1 string of beads. Total amount of 200 gifts is 55,000,000 VND.

Thus, the total gift is 1,751 portions, 1 Buddha statue, 2 charity houses, donation for the release animals 200,000,000 VND.

Total amount of Charity and release animals on October 10, 2019 is 1,410,915,000 VND (One billion, four hundred and ten million, nine hundred and fifteen thousand dong).
