The ceremony praying for rebirth in Nam Dinh

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda went to Phuong hamlet, Nam Duong, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh to pray rebirth for Mrs. Pham Thi Ty (Dharma name Lien Tam) on Jan. 29th, 2020 (on Jan. 5th, the rat year).

Reportedly, Mrs. Pham Thi Ty was suffered a serious illness, died on Jan. 27th, 2020 (on Jan. 3rd, 2020), aged 88 year old.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda and their relatives chanted mantras, recited Buddha’s name, prayed to transfer these merit to the soul being early born to the peaceful realm of Buddha Amitabha.

On behalf the monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue sincerely had condolences to the family. He also praised the descendant's gratitude and repayment, then advised they should do blessings such as eating vegan, reciting Buddha's name, making offering to the Three Jewels, helping the poor, as well as printing sutra, releasing creatures, repentance, etc,... which transfers these merit to the soul on during 49 days. At the same time, siblings in the family must unite, love, help, take care of each other, lead their beloved ones comeback to rely on the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.

On this occasion, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue gave gifts of dharma, including of the books “Brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery”, “Lessons of gratitude”, "Merit of freeing creatures".

In the afternoon, the group came to visit and make offering at Pho Minh Pagoda (Thap pagoda), located at western of Tran temple, belonging to Loc Vuong ward, Nam Dinh City. The pagoda was built under the Ly dynasty and was the place cultivation for many Kings, so this place is a national history monument.
