The 2nd charity trip towards the central region of Dong Cao Pagoda

The floods from Oct. 6th, 2020 up to now have affected the living of people in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh ... Responding to the calling from the Abbot Ven of  Dong Cao Pagoda, the Buddhist Sangha and authority levels on the mutual spirit of loving, many benefactors, Buddhists and donors have joined hands to help flood-affected areas in districts in Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces.

Before coming to Ha Tinh, the delegation returned to Giai Lam pagoda, Ha Tinh province to worship Buddha, and visit to Junior Ven. Thich Tam Nguyen is managing Giai Lam pagoda. Combining with Giai Lam pagoda, the delegation gave 21 gift ones to families in Binh Tien village, Tan Lam Huong commune, Thach Ha district in Ha Tinh province with the amount over 9,600,000 VND. Each part includes: 200,000 VND of envelope, flashlight, vegetarian noodles, gifts of dharma. In Tien Thuong village, Tan Lam Huong commune, Ha Tinh, the delegation presented 51 gift ones with the amount of 18,000,000 VND, including envelopes of 200,000 VND, clothes, shoes, bread, flashlights, 10 kg of rice, boxes of noodles, dharma gifts.

Next, the delegation went to the Cultural House of Trung Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province, with the help of the Quang Binh border guards and the local authorities at all levels, the delegation presented more than 200 gifts with the amount of 80,000.000 VND, including envelopes of 200,000 VND, clothes, shoes, mats, water, milk, 10 kg of delicious rice, noodles, bread ... The delegation visited and gave15 gift ones with the amount of 7,500,000 VND (each one is an envelope of 500,000 VND) to families affected by economic loss and means of livelihood. Thus, this charity trip has presented nearly 300 gift portions with the amount of 100,000,000 VND.

In each support area, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung had a few words of encouragement to the people in flooded areas about avoiding evil acts, doing good deeds, overcoming all difficulties, and settling down early.
