Testing health, giving medicines and gifts in Binh Phuoc

On the morning of 22/09/2018 (lunar 13/08 Dog Year), Venerable Thich Tam Hue and the Buddhists of the Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda in association with volunteer physicians of the Red Cross in Ho Chi Minh City organized medical examination, giving medicines and gifts for 300 poor residents in Thanh Hoa commune, Bu Dop district, Binh Phuoc province.

Each of medicine portion costs 100,000 VND. The money total of medicine was worth 30 million VND was supported by the volunteer doctors of the Red Cross TP. HCM. Each of gift portions is 250,000 VND consistsing of 10kgs of rice, 1 barrel of vegetarian noodles, 1 shirt, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bottle of soy sauce, 1 Buddha necklace, 1 string of beads. Money total of 300 gift portions is worth 75 million. (donated by Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda) Total amount of medicines and gifts are worth 105 million VND.

The group also granted to doctors, local government leaders some dharma gift portions including of books such as "Bad results of killing creature", "Remembering mother on Ullambana season", "the Ullambana sutra", Buddha necklace, string of beads.
