Supporting the 317 Infantry Division, Military Region 7 in Hoc Mon District.

On April 3rd, 2020, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, Monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda came the 317th Infantry Division, Military Region 7, Le Loi, Hoc Mon, HCMC to give gifts to the soldiers, militia and medical doctors who care for and support the people who have been isolating at here.

Accordingly, the delegation donated 1 ton of rice and 200 boxes of vegetarian noodles, the total cost was 28,000,000 VND.

The 317 Infantry Division is a permanent unit, small in number but with a variety of tasks. At this time, the Division was tasked with receiving the foreign citizens and Vietnamese citizens from the Ministry of Defense and the Military Region to implement the isolation here. The soldiers of Division gave way its accommodation and combinated with the HCMC Preventive Medical Center, ensuring food hygiene and accommodation for isolated people.

This Division 317 has received 205 citizens from the countries where the epidemic is returning, including 12 foreign nationals. Quarantined people have been caring dedicatedly and have all tested negative for Covid-19.

The Division 317 is facilitated by the City's People Committee, the departments, unions and benefactors to fulfill this special task.

The leaders of the Division express their thanks to the monks and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda for supporting the Division to complete the mission.

On this occasion, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue gave gifts of Dharma to the officers and soldiers serving here. The gift included the books such as, “60-year essential memories of Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh”, "Retribution for killing creatures", “A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap monastery”, “Lessons for Kids”.
