A gift (a package of 20 kilos of rice and 100,000 VND) for Mr. Nguyen Van Tao (from Binh Chanh province)

2.3 Jan 2017: 500 gifts for a charity trip to Quang Ngai and Dong Nai province = 105,705 million VND

-Four boxes of fried rice for people in Cai Be and Can Tho: 1,8 million VND

·The charity trip in Tay Ninh was also supported by some Buddhists, including:

+ Ms.Huong: 50 kilos of rice

+ Ms. Nguyen Lan and her friends: 100 kilos of rice + 50 bottles of cooking oil + 20 boxes of instant noodles + some sweets for children in Tan Hoa

·The charity trip in Cai Be, Tien Giang was also supported:

+ 2 tons of rice

+ 100 boxes of instant noodles

+ 3000 kilos of sugar

+ 300 bottles of cooking oil

+ 300 bottles of soybean source

9.A gift of cash to Ms.Thanh Nga: 500,000 VND

10.25 Jan 2017: 100 gifts for the indigent in Hoc Mon

Fee of opening bank account for animal release: 100,000 VND

SUMMARY OF CHARITY IN JANUARY 2017 (IN DECEMBER, YEAR OF MONKEY)

1.1 Jan 2017 (4 Dec, Year of Monkey): 211 gifts (worth 63,6 million VND) for oncological patients

2.7 Jan 2017 (10 Dec, Year of Monkey): 300 gifts (worth 105 million VND, included 3 tons of rice supported by Buddhists = 33,9 million VND) for people in Tinh Son commune, Son Tinh district, Quang Ngai province

3.8 Jan 2017 (11 Dec, Year of Monkey): 200 gifts (worth 36 million VND) for Buddhists in Hung Phap pagoda, Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Loc district, Dong Nai province

In Quang Ngai and Dong Nai, we cooperated with Doctor for Charity group named An Nghiep from Can Tho province in order to conduct medical examination and give 500 packages of medicine to people there. Medicine were sponsored by An Nghiep Doctor group.

4.15 Jan 2017 (18 Dec, Year of Monkey): 250 gifts (included 250 clothes sponsored by Buddhists) for people in Doan Ket Commune and Street 10, Bu Dang District, Binh Phuoc Province

5.19 Jan 2017 (22 Dec, Year of Monkey): 350 gifts (worth 65,850 million VND, in which Ms. Nguyen Lan and her friends sponsored rice, instant noodles, sweets worth 3,08 million VND; Ms. Huong sponsored 50 kilos of rice = 500,000 VND; Mr.Vinh sponsored dried rice worth 400,000 VND) for Suoi Ngo and Tan Hoa Commune, Tan Chau District, Tay Ninh Province

6.22 Jan 2017 (25 Dec, Year of Monkey): 300 gifts (worth 61,5 million VND, in which Buddhists sponsored 2 tons of rice, 100 boxes of instant noodles, 300 kilos of sugar, 25 boxes of cooking oil, 13 boxes of soybean source worth 42,1 million VND) for people in An Thai Trung commune, Cai Be District, Tien Giang Province

7.22 Jan 2017 (25 Dec, Year of Monkey): 200 gifts (worth 38,843 million VND) for people in Cai Khe commune, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho Province

8.25 Jan 2017 (28 Dec, Year of Monkey): 100 gifts (worth 24,372 million VND) for the needy in Hoc Mon District

9.Transferring 20 boxes of instant noodles and 200 kilos of rice (2,980 million VND) to the handicapped in Dien Khanh district, Khanh Hoa province

In conclusion, from 1-25 Jan 2017 (4-28 Dec, Year of Monkey), Hoang Phap Monastery’s Charity Department gave 1,911 gifts to people in Quang Ngai, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang and Ho Chi Minh City worth 450,645 million VND (in which the amount of money spending for gifts: 361,324 million VND)

Buddhists gave some materials worth 87,621 million VND

*Free medical examination and 500 packages of medicine (worth 500,000 VND) sponsored by An Nghiep Doctor for Charity group to people in Quang Ngai and Dong Nai Province

Mr. Viet from Binh Chanh district sponsored transportation for shipping gifts to Dong Nai and Tien Giang

Ms. Loi from Binh Duong district sponsored transportation for shipping gifts to Binh Phuoc

Mr. Hoi sponsored transportation for shipping gifts to Tay Ninh
