Ritual of visiting and offering homage to Master of Nuns Thich Nu Nhu Van, Long An

Under the instruction by Most Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hue, monks and Buddhists came to Long Hoa Monastery on March 18th, 2022, (Feb. 16th, LC) to pay respect to late Chief Nun Thich Nu Nhu Van.

When she was still alive, Chief Nun Thich Nu Nhu Van used to hold positions, such as: Prove of the Board of Director of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha in Long An province; Former Head of the Economic and Financial Department of the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Can Duoc district, term VIII - IX; Abbot of Long Hoa Nunnery, Long Trach Commune, Can Duoc District.

Because of old age, the Master of Nuns gave up her physical body at 07:30 on March 17th, 2022 (Feb. 15th, LC), at 80 years old with 52 years of religious age at Long Hoa Monastery in Long An province

The entry ceremony in the funeral was held at 20:00 on March 17th, 2022 (Feb. 15th, LC). The funeral will be held at Long Hoa Monastery, Long An province.

The funeral will begin at 08:00, on March 18th, 2022 (Feb. 16th, LC). The rite is commemorated at 6h00 on March 20th, 2022 (Feb. 18th, LC) and then moved to the pagoda's campus, and put into a stupa at Long Hoa pagoda.

Monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hue offered their condolences to the enlightened soul of the Late Master of Nuns. On behalf of Long Hoa Nunnery, nun Thich Nu Nhu Quang thanked the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda for taking the time to pay respects and commemorate the Master of nuns.

Next, Junior Thich Tam Hue, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda paid homage to the body of Chief nun and walked around Her coffin for the last time.

Finally, on behalf of the monks of Hoang Phap pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hue left his condolences in the memorial book, prayed for her enlightenment Spirit to enter the Pure Land and wished Long Hoa Nunnery more prosperous days to benefit sentient beings.
