Releasing creatures at High U Minh forest

On Jan. 31st, 2020 (lunar Jan. 07th, the Rat Year) Junior Thich Tam Hue accompanying with Buddhists came High U Minh forest in Kien Giang Province for releasing creatures.

The delegation went Mr. Nguyen Van Thai's house in Trung An, Cu Chi to buy three python earth with weight 100 kg.

On the way to U Minh forest, the group visited Vinh Hiep pagoda to worship Buddha, make offerings to Three Jewel and local monks. Next, the delegation arrived Ngoc Chung temple offering to the Three Jewel. This chance, the Most Ven. Thich Ngoc Giau made the rite of purifying by sprinkling water, taking refuge, reciting Buddha's name for these pythons.

The delegation took four pythons of 150 kg  to the Center for the Conservation and Development of Creatures at U Minh Thuong National Park which will take care them until recover and then release them into the forest.

By the way, the delegation had sightseeing of some breeding cages for animal rescue, such as Siamese crocodile, peacocks, varan, yellow-cheeked gibbon, long-tailed macaque ... On this occasion, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue gave gifts of dharma, including the books “60-year essential memories of Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh”, "Lessons for Kids".

Creature freeing will brings many merit, therefore, we should regularly release and exhort everyone to do together.
