Releasing creatures and repentant ceremony at Minh Chat ashram in Can Tho

On June 20th, 2020 (intercalary month of April 29th, Year of Mouse), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and devout Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City returned to Minh Chat retreat to attend the periodic penance ceremony.
In the morning, the delegation had a trip freeing creatures at Ba Lua port in Cu Chi.
In the afternoon the mass chanted repentant Sutra, the Monks respectfully prostrated grace names of the Buddhas and then vowed to dedicate this merit to all beings to be early enlightened.
By the way, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue gave dharma gifts to Buddhists in the repentant ceremony, including some books: Lessons Learned When Visiting Buddhist Temples, A brief Introduction of Hoang Phap Monastery.
The repentant day ended in the joys of the participants.
