Program of giving alms to pagodas in rain Retreat (the rat Year)

On Aug. 09th, 2020 (lunar June 20th,  the Rat Year)

Dear laymen, laywomen and Buddhists!

In order to guide the Buddhists to take the Triratna refuge of Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, and create the blessing on their path of practice, this rain Retreat of rat year, the Charity Board of Hoang Phap pagoda organized offerings to rain schools in Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh and Can Tho. 

Each Buddhist donated 1 million dong including 600 thousand dong for 04 pagodas, 200 thousand dong for the trip ticket, 10 thousand dong for driver, 50 thousand dong  for food, 140 thousand dong for gifts offered to 04 temples.

- 4:00 am: Gathering in front of Soul stupa (HoangPhap Pagoda), listening to an announcement from Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, head of the charity program of making offerings to 04 temples.

- 05:00 am: offering honorable incense to Hoang Phap pagoda at Tan Hiep commune, Hoc Mon district, HCM city.

- 6:00 Go by car to Vietnam Buddhist University in Le Minh Xuan, Binh Chanh.

- 7:30: read a speech of offering to Vietnam Buddhist University in Binh Chanh.

- 08h30: Start moving down to Can Tho, on the way will have breakfast in the car.

- 13:00: Read a speech of offering to the rain school of Truc Lam  Monastery of the south in Can Tho.

- 14h00: Read a speech of offering to Phuoc Long Pagoda, Can Tho.

- 15:00: Get on the bus to Hoang Phap Pagoda, have dinner in the car

- 19h30h: Arrive at Hoang Phap Pagoda.
