Program of giving alms eight pagodas in the Lunar New Year (Year of the Ox)

Dear laymen, laywomen and Buddhists!

In hope to help Buddhists refuge in Buddha, Dharma, Sangha and create the blessing in the practice, on the occasion Lunar New Year, the Charity Board of Hoang Phap pagoda will organize offering to eight pagodas in Hoc Mon, Thu Duc and Binh Duong.

Each Buddhist registers to pay 1,100,000 VND, including 560,000 VND for donating to 8 pagodas, 200,000 VND for going and returning, 10,000 VND fee fostering for driver, 55,000 VND for meals, 275,000 VND for buying almsgiving 8 pagodas. For breakfast, Buddhists self bring to have.

On Jan. 01st ,Year of the Ox:

- 5:00 am: Gathering in front of soul stupa (Hoang Phap Pagoda) will listen to Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, head of the group who informs the program of making offerings to 08 temples.

- 06:00 am: Making a speech and offering to Hoang Phap Pagoda (Tan Hiep, Hoc Mon, HCMC).

-7:00 am: Getting on the bus to district 12.

-7:30 am to Khanh An Pagoda  to offer Triratna.

-8:30 am to Van Duc Pagoda to offer Triratna.

-9:30 am to Tu Quang Pagoda: Making a speech, offering and listening to a dharma preached by Senior Thich Thien Y, then visit and have lunch at pagoda.

-12:30 pm to Hoi Khanh Pagoda: Making a speech and offering.

-13:30 pm to Phuc Truong Monastery: Making a speech and offering.

-14:30 pm to Duc Hoa Pagoda: Making a speech and offering.

-15:30 pm to Buu Nghiem pagoda : Making a speech, offering and listening to a dharma will have preached Senior Abbot, then will visit and have dinner at pagoda.

- 17:00 pm: Coming back to Hoang Phap Pagoda.
