PROGRAM OF ATTENDING BELL CASTING RITE, MAKING OFFERING, CHARITY, AND FREEING CREATURES IN TEN DAYS AND NIGHTS TO NINE BRANCHES

On April 28th, to May 7th, 2022 (From March 28th to April 07th, LC)

Dear good man and believing woman!

 Aiming to help Buddhists to rely on Three Jewels and creating conditions to come to Hoang Phap Pagoda's branches across the country, they are facing many difficulties in the Covid-19 epidemic.

On April and May, the Charity Board of Hoang Phap pagoda will organize a trip offering nine branches of the pagodas from An Son Pagoda (Quang Ngai) to Tay Khanh Pagoda (Thai Binh) in ten days while practicing and combining charity and freeing creatures to create blessings as follows:

 Each Buddhist who registers to go will pay 4,500,000 VND, including: the cost of transportation is 2,500,000 VND, (cost of meals for 8.5 days x 80,000 VND is 680,000 VND), the money to donate to 9 temples is 900,000 VND, charity is 220, 000VND, creature releasing is 200,000 VND. Ms Hoa Dao's family gives 120,000 VND for 1.5 days of food.

The total amount of money going to charity and freeing is about 350,000,000 VND.

The specific program goes as follows:

1. April 28, 2022 (March 28,  Year of the Tiger )

 - 13:00 pm: Gathering in front of spirit's stupa (HoangPhap Pagoda), listening to an announcement of the trip instructed  by Junior Thich Tam Hue, head of the charity program.

 -14:00 pm, get on the bus

- 17:00 pm, eat dinner of the prepared meal

- 24: 00 hours to Nha Trang

 2. April 29, 2022 (March 29, LC):

- 4:00pm arrive at Ngoc Dinh Vihara, Binh Dinh province

- 5am exercise, have breakfast nearby, get on the bus to Quang Ngai

- 10:00 a.m to An Son pagoda, Quang Ngai province (Tam Khuyen), have an offering to the Three Jewels, and visit the temple. Ven Tam Khuyen shared about the challenge of first coming to receive the temple, difficulties during the Covid-19 epidemic

- 11 a.m have lunch and rest

- 13:00 pm chanting 13 chapters of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, giving food to the dead

- 17:00 pm have dinner

- 19 pm, chant sutra 

- 21 pm go to bed

3. April 30, 2022 (March 30 of the LC):

- 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 6 am breakfast

- 7 am: Bell casting rite at An Son pagoda, Quang Ngai.

- 9:00 am: Giving 200 gifts to 200 poor, near-poor people, Agent Orange victims in Quang Ngai. Each gift is worth 320,000 VND, including an envelope of 300,000 VND, 1 Buddha necklace, and 1 string.

- 11 am have lunch, take a rest

- 13:00: Go to Tan Tay pagoda in Quang Nam, abbot Tam Man

- 15:00: Arrive at the temple, make offerings to the Three Jewels, visit the temple. The public heard Master Tam Man share about the challenge of first coming to the temple, the difficulties during the Covid-19 epidemic

- 17:00 p.m have dinner, visit the temple

- 19:00 p.m have ritual practice

- 21:00 p.m go to bed, do logistics, prepare breakfast and noon the next day.

4. May 1, 2022 (April 1, LC):

 - 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 5:30 am get on the bus, 6:30 a.m to Da Nang, 8:30 a.m. Buddha recitation on the bus, 9:30 a.m. to Hue, have lunch prepared

- 2:30 p.m Reciting Buddha's name on the bus

- 4:00 p.m to Quang Tri, visit a vegetarian restaurant, have dinner

- 20h to Quang Binh, go to Ms. Lien Nga's house, Huong to sleep, do logistics, prepare breakfast and noon the next day.

5. May 2, 2022 (April 2, LC):

- 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 5:30 am to Nghe An

- 8 am reciting Buddha's name in the car

- 9:00 am arrive at An Phap pagoda (Can Mon, Nghe An), make offerings to the Three Jewels, and visit the temple. The mass listened to Ven Tam Hieu share about the challenges of the first time coming to receive the temple, difficulties in the Covid-19 epidemic

- 11 a.m have lunch, logistics to prepare dinner

- 12:00 go to Bon Pagoda (Nghe An)

- At 13:00, there is an offering to the Three Jewels, visiting the temple. The mass listened to Ven Tam Due share about the challenges of first coming to receive the temple,  difficulties during the Covid-19 epidemic

- 14:00 sightseeing

- 15:00 go to Co Am temple

- 3:30pm arrive at the place of making offerings to the Three Jewels, visit the temple. The mass listened to Ven Tam Thanh share about the challenge of first coming to receive the temple, the difficulties during the Covid-19 epidemic

- 16:30 have dinner

- 17h30 go to Giai Lam pagoda

- 20h to the place, make offerings to the Three Jewels, visit the temple. The public listened to Ven Tam Nguyen share about the challenges of the first time coming to receive the temple, the difficulties during the Covid-19 epidemic

Do logistics, prepare breakfast and noon the next day. 

6. May 3, 2022 (April 3, LC):

- 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 5:30 am go to Dong Cao pagoda (Thanh Hoa)

- 8 am reciting Buddha's name in the car

- 10:00 am to Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa province (Tam Hung), make offerings to the Triratna, visit the temple. The public listened to Ven Tam Hung share about the hardships and challenges of the early days of receiving the temple, the difficulties in the Covid-19 epidemic.

- 11 a.m have lunch, then visit the temple

- 13:00 go to Hoa Phuc pagoda

- 2:30 p.m Reciting Buddha's name on the bus

16h30 arrive at Hoa Phuc pagoda, make offerings to the Three Jewels, and visit the temple. The mass listened to Ven Tam Hoa share about the hardships and challenges of the early days of receiving the temple, the difficulties in the Covid-19 epidemic.

- 17:30 have dinner

- 19h chant sutra in the evening,  do logistics, prepare breakfast and noon the next day, go to bed.

7. May 4, 2022 (April 4, LC):

- 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 6:00 am go to Tay Khanh pagoda (Thai Binh)

- 8 am reciting Buddha's name in the car

10:30 am arrive at Tay Khanh pagoda, Thai Binh province, make offerings to the Three Jewels, and visit the temple. The mass listened to Ven Tam Kinh share about the hardships and challenges of the first days of receiving the temple, the difficulties during the Covid-19 epidemic.

- 11 a.m have lunch, visit the temple

- 12 o'clock go back to Nam Dinh

- 13h30 to Phuong village in Nam Dinh, rest

- 15 pm enter Nam Duong secondary school, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh, visit and give books

- 17:00 p.m go home to eat, 7:00 p.m chanting prayers, preparing breakfast.

8. May 5, 2022 (April 5, LC):

- 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 6 am have breakfast

- At 7 a.m take refuge in Three Jewels and make offerings to monks at home Ms Hoa Dao, Phuong hamlet, Nam Duong commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province.

+ Freeing creatures in De ferry-boat, Nam Giang, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh.

+ Giving money to build a house of love to Ms. Tran Thi La's house in Phuong village, Nam Duong, Nam Truc, Nam Dinh, worth 60,000,000 VND

+ Giving gifts in Nam Duong commune, Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province

- 18:00 p.m have dinner and sleep at Miss Hoa Dao's house, do logistics, prepare breakfast and noon the next day.

9. May 6, 2022 (April 6, LC):

- 4 am have morning ritual practice

- 5 am do exercise

- 5:30 am get on the bus to Thai Binh, have breakfast on the bus

- 9:30 am to Thanh Hoa

- 12 pm arrive in Nghe An, have lunch on the bus

- 19:00 p.m to Quang Binh

10. May 7, 2022 (April 7, LC):

- 3:00 am to Quang Ngai

- 5:00 am to Binh Dinh, exercise, buy breakfast box

- 10:00 am to Bo De restaurant to buy lunch and dinner

- 15h to Binh Thuan

- 20: 00 pm arrive at Hoang Phap pagoda
