Offerings to Vinh Nghiem Monastery

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda went to Vinh Nghiem Monastery to worship Buddha and make offerings on the occasion of the New Year of the Buffalo of Feb. 18th, 2021. Due to the outbreak of the Covid -19 epidemic, the group complied with regulations and prevented the disease from spreading in the community.

Vinh Nghiem Monastery is located on HT 31, Hiep Thanh, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City founded by Late Most Thich Tam Giac. Senior Thich Giac Dung (the current abbot of the monastery) has built a temple in the mark of Dai Viet culture and named Vinh Nghiem Monastery to repay the merit of its Founder.

Vinh Nghiem Monastery is also the third institute of Vietnam Buddhist University in Ho Chi Minh City. The Faculty of Law of Buddhism officially operated in December 2020 and the Sangha also resided at the monastery.

Under the guidance of the monks, the group returned to the monastery. First, the delegation will worship Buddha, then will wish longevity the Venerable Monks and listen to his teachings of the early spring and receive lucky money pockets from the abbot.
