Offerings to the Three Jewels of Hoa Phuc Pagoda, Ha Noi

The charity delegation of Hoang Phap Pagoda had a trip to make offerings to the Three Jewels and chant sutra at Hoa Phuc Pagoda in Ha Noi managed by Junior Thich Tam Hoa on May 3rd, 2022 (April 3, LC).

Junior Thich Tam Hoa is a monk of Hoang Phap Pagoda (HCMC) in the South. When going to the North to practice, he relied on the practice by Senior Thich Tien Dat – Standing Member of the Central Committee of Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha, Deputy of the Standing Committee of Central Legal Department, Deputy cum Chief Secretary of Hanoi Buddhist Association, as well as Advisor to Management Board of Hanoi Buddhist School.

Senior Thich Tien Dat and Most Thich Chan Tinh are from two different regions but both practice according to the Pure Land Sect, cultivating in the human life at present as the cause for the Pure Land in the future.

Junior Thich Tam Hoa soon absorbed the will of dharma propagating from these two virtuous masters, then he always guided by these teachers in the path of practice and spreading the Dharma; Therefore, Hoa Phuc Pagoda is established according to the cultural architecture of Buddhism in Vietnam and the Northern Delta, is a temple that trains talented monks for future youth, as well as organizes retreats for all people. Thanks to his merit, support of the government, cooperation of the local people and Buddhists in solidarity of people, as well as the support of Three Jewels has created a blessing achievement. A temple with dignified architecture is for Buddhists return to practice, contributing to an impressive scene in the local scenic spot, a temple that adorns Doai region and Hanoi Buddhism.

Every day, the temple has an evening chanting session for about 50 people. He has opened many retreats: Eight Precepts Retreat, Lotus Seed Sowing Retreat, One Day Retreat, and Return to peaceful place Retreat... Especially, in which “Return to peaceful place” Retreat has a great influence on the perception of young people, who feel the value of stillness in life. They have partly understood about filial piety, know how to love their parents, show regret for what they have done wrong and then correct it.

The delegation donated money and items to the Three Jewels. Buddhists represented in the group offered a speech, praying the epidemic will soon be eradicated, world peace and people's peace. This temple will be a spiritual destination; guiding Buddhists everywhere practice to be happy and liberated.

 Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa sincerely thanked Hoang Phap pagoda's Master for taking care of the pagoda and the people in Ha Noi.

Representative of the charity group, Junior Thich Tam Hue praised the merit, had a few words to Junior Thich Tam Hoa and Support Board of Hoa Phuc pagoda, and had a mind to propagate the dharma.

Junior Thich Tam Hoa praised the spirit of Dharma protection of Buddhists and hoped them diligently to practice Buddha's teachings, cultivate morality, effective Dharma protectors, and live a peaceful life.
