Offerings to the Three Jewels of An Son Pagoda, Quang Ngai

On April 29, 2022 (March 29, LC), the charity delegation from Hoang Phap Pagoda had a trip to make offerings to the Three Jewels, chant prayers for peace at An Son pagoda (Quang Ngai) managed by Junior Abbot Thich Tam Khuyen.

An Son pagoda has been a small temple since 1967; in need of study and the permission of local government, Buddhists contributed to the restoration and established a temple support Board to study in 1988; In 2019, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Khuyen received management to this day. He has built additional works, such as Sangha rooms, kitchen. Every day, An Son pagoda has an evening chanting course for about 40 people and organizes One-day retreats.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue donated money and items to Three Jewels. Buddhists’ representatives in the delegation had  a speech to make offerings.

 The group read 13 chapters of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's sutra, recited Buddha's name and performed the ritual of Almsgiving for souls, praying the epidemic would soon be eradicated, the world was peaceful, and the people were at happiness; An Son temple will be a spiritual place, guiding Buddhists everywhere to practice for peace and liberation.

Junior  Ven. Thich Tam Khuyen expressed his gratitude the Most for taking care of his temple and the people in Quang Ngai.

Representative of the charity group, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue praised the merit of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Khuyen and An Son temple’s support Board, helped dharma propagation in remote and remote areas of Quang Ngai province.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Khuyen thanked Buddhists’ Dharma protection and wished all of them diligently studying, being filial children, effective Dharma protectors, living a peaceful life.
