Offering to Chon Thuong pagoda and giving gifts at Cai Khe, Can Tho

Chon Thuong Pagoda in Tien Giang Province is a place in poor countryside, and has 13 monks studying. A Buddhist in the dharmapala group introduced the delegation to know about the temple. The monks at pagoda are happy to welcome the group. The delegation visited and offered money and things to the Three Jewels.

The delegation went to Cai Khe Ward, Ninh Kieu District to donate 200 gifts to poor and near poor families to partly support the warm and happy Tet.

Each gift is worth 300,000 VND, including 10 kg of rice, 1 box of vegetarian noodles, 2 shirts, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bottle of soy sauce, 10 masks and other gifts. The total amount of charity money is 60,000,000 VND, supported by Ms Lien (Tan Binh Construction Joint Stock Company) and Mr Son (DRH HOLDINGS Company).

In addition, each gift will also receive a gift of dharma, including the books named Lessons for children, Lessons for the Youth. Doctor Buoi's family donated 1 kg of white sugar to each part.

The gifts are small and simple, but full of joyfulness on the recipient's face.

On the way back, the group had a trip releasing creatures at Ba Lua port, Cu Chi.
