Giving gifts to oncology patients attending One Day Retreat

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized One Day Retreat on April 18th, 2021 (March 07th, Year of Buffalo). In particular, there were 60 patients with oncology who also attended the Retreat on this day.

In the morning, the mass gathered at the lecture halls to begin the practice day as usual.

Ending the cultivation day, Junior Thich Tam Hue and the Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda visited, encouraged and gave 60 gift portions made by a Buddhist who regularly supported.

The gift is small, simple but full of love, partly to help the spirit to patients. Hope the sick should try to cope with this incurable disease.

In the afternoon the group chanted to pray rebirth for the soul Mrs Huynh Thi Phuong (dharma name Lien Phuong), passed away on Dec. 22nd, Year of Buffalo, who lived 83 years old. The group chanted sutra, recited the Buddha’s name and prayed to dedicate the merit for her soul soon to be born in the peaceful realm of Amitabha Buddha.
