Giving Gifts In Hoc Mon

In the morning of January 25th, 2017 (Lunar December 28th Monkey Year) in Hoang Phap temple, charity group combining with The Red-Cross of Hoc Mon District organized the ceremony of giving gift for Tet to the poor, or in difficult circumstances, mother of martyrs, .... under the 10 communes in Hoc Mon District.

Mr. An, Vice President of HCMC Red Cross attended. Venerable Thich Tam Hue – head charity of Hoang Phap temple, on behalf of the Senior Senerable abbot said the New Year’s greetings and had a few of good words to give Buddhists with spring healthy fun, from which they should not drink alcohol, gamble, and should be usually come to temple for Dharma lectures, try to do as many good deeds belongs to yourself ability, sowing good seed in current then get good result in future.Amount of gifts: 95 parts, including : rice, instant noodle, oil, cash envolopes,…and DVD of Dharma Mystical period 4.

After that, attending the guidance of the Red Cross of Hoc Mon District, the honorable monks gave 5 gifts for 5 household in particularly difficult circumstances, the mother of martyrs (2 households in Tan Hiep, households in Tan Xuan , 2 households in Xuan Thoi Son). Total amount of gifts is: 24.372.000d.

Ending the program "Together with the community, bringing joy to the poor celebrate Tet", from January 1st –25, 2017 (4thof Lunar December 28th Monkey Year) charity board gave 450.646.000 vnd ( included cash and gifts) for poor patients, elderly, and people in difficult circumstances… from Quang Ngai, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Tien Giang, Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh city. The charity group sincerely thanked to Buddhists everywhere gave heart, objects along with transportation, brought gifts to poor families from mountain to rural for welcome Roster Year.
