Giving Gifts and freeing creatures in Nha Trang

Response to the invitation of the Venerable Thich Tam Dac, on December 13th, 2018 (lunar Nov. 07th, the year of dog), Venerable Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda came Vinh Phap Pagoda at Xuan Lac Hamlet, Vinh Ngoc Commune, Nha Trang City to give gifts to 170 near-poor and poor households. At here, there are 165 poor households, each of gift portion with a value of 313,000 dong, including an envelop of 300,000 dong, a Buddha necklace, and a string of beads. Total amount of 165 portions of gifts is worth 51,645,000 dong, then the group came to the houses of five paralyzed people to give each person 1,013,000 VND, including of 1 envelop costs 1,000,000 VND, a Buddha necklace, and a string of beads.

With the support of local authority levels, the ceremony of giving gifts supported 56,710,000 VND to 170 poor households in Xuan Lac hamlet, Vinh Ngoc commune, Nha Trang city was completed in the joy of the mass. By the way, Ven Tam Hue gave the gift of dharma, the books "Introducing about the Hoang Phap pagoda", "A gift of spring" by the Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, Buddha necklace, string of beads to the leadership levels of the commune. Then, the group returned to Vinh Phuc pagoda, offering money and pure alms, worth 11,500,000 dong.

 

On the way back to Phan Ri Thanh, the delegation bought some of snails, sparrows, then all of them were taken refuge the Three Jewels, reciting the Buddha’s name, and freed them to nature at a nearby temple.

 

The delegation visited the house of the bird sold man, chanting a sutra to pray a rebirth for the father of him, Mr. Nguyen Kha, died Nov. 01st, 2018, aged 78 and his mother Nguyen  Thi Ty,  lived 70 years old, died on November 30th, 2017, at No 392, Binh Long village, Phan Ri Thanh commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province. The whole group prayed for the two souls early coming the peaceful realm.
