The Oncology Hospital has many cancer patients who are treated here. The treatment spaces are very difficult and some beds have two patients. There are not such enough beds that the patients have to lie under the floor. Patients have to fight against the diseases and all requirements need relatives’s and surrounders’ help.

It is raining today but the group still came to give gifts: Radiation Area 2 has 110 patients, Radiation zone 3 owns 93 cancer people, Radiation tract 4 includes 120 suffers, Outpatient region treates 14 cases and Palliative Care section holds 13 people. The Venerable and everybody gave the bags of fresh milk to the patients and instructed them how to recite the Buddha and have vegetarian meals ... All the people happily listened to each of his teachings and promised to follow the his instructions. Each gift is worth of 330,000 VND includes a bag, 4 boxes of fresh milk. The total amount 350 gifts values 115.5 million. The small amount of money is only enough to help some people buy more medicine for a few days, but can not help them recover from the disease.

However, we believe that the gift has brought them a little joy, a little more belief that they are not alone in this life. And one more important thing, thanks to this relationship, is to help them rely on the Buddha sentence that is associated with Buddhism, which can transform all suffering in this life and help them be born in a better life in the next life.

With the help of Ms. Hao (The head of social work of the hospital), the ceremony giving gifts to 350 patients from HCMC Oncology Hospital was successful in the joy of everyone.

We would like to send sincere gratitude to Anathapindikas : Ms. Nien in Dong Thap, Ms. Dieu Thien in Ba Bau market, Mr. Viet-truck driver, Ms. Dung and the Buddhists in and outside the country who gave charity donations; trherefore, the trip was very successful. Praying for more golden heart helping all patients in the hospital to have supports to save their lives. Therefore, they can be imbedded in the protestion and lived in the Buddhas’ light.
