Freeing creatures in Can Tho

On May 25th, 2019 (lunar April 21st, the year of the Pig), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda came to Xuan Khanh Market, Can Tho to buy some kinds of fish for freeing them at Co Bac Ferry, Can Tho.

Next, the delegation visited Dau Tieng Wildlife Center, Binh Duong to hand over three turtles bought in Can Tho (including 2 turtles Elongated tortoise, males 1.6 kg, females 1.5 kg and a turtle Heosemys grandis, weighs 0.9 kg. All three turtles are in the list of rare animals group 2b) on May 26th,  2019 (Apr. 22nd, LC).

The doctors received and injected medicines, took care all until they were very healthy and brought to U Minh Thuong forest to release them.

Monk Tam Hue also donated 3,570,000 VND which was supported by Buddhists to buy food for rare animals at the Center.

He also gave dharma gifts to the doctors and the central staff, including a necklace with a little Buddha’s statue, chain of beads, some books named "Introductions of Hoang Phap monastery”, "Results of killing creatures”, and Hương Phap magazine which was written by the Senior Abbot Venerable of Hoàng Pháp Pagoda.
