Freeing creatures at Ba Lua port in Cu Chi

On Feb. 18th-19th, 2021, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, Buddhist at Hoang Phap Pagoda and Junior Thich Tam Dien’s family had a trip to release creatures at Ba Lua port in Cu Chi.

Freeing of creatures has three useful things:

- Giving material: giving money to save animal's fates.

- Giving dharma: the ritual of freeing creatures will have the transmitting Three Refuge, reciting the Buddha's name and dedicating merit to all beings soon reaching to the Pure Land.

- Giving fearlessness: Giving of fearlessness to animals caused by the acting of killing.

The delegation took refuge Three Jewel, recited the Buddha's name and performed the rite of freeing creatures. The refuge will help the beings to sow good conditions in Buddhism. The meaning of liberation is to help animals, when hearing the name of the Buddha, will sow goodness into their minds, thereby meeting the Dharma, deliverance in the future.

The delegation prayed to transfer this merit to Junior Thich Tam Dien who was born early on the Pure Land.

Freeing of creatures will create much merit, so we should regularly perform this doing and encourage everyone to join hands together.
