Examining health, giving medicine and gift portions in Ben Tre

On May 11th, 2019 (on Apr. 07th, LC), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue combined with the Red Cross ‘s volunteer doctor Group in Ho Chi Minh City and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda went to My An, Thanh Phu in Ben Tre to do charity.

The group examined health for 300 poor people and donated 300 portions of medicine, each of them 100,000 VND. The total amount of donated medicine is 30,000,000 VND.

The delegation also gave 300 gift portions, each one worth 250,000 VND (including 10 kg of rice, 1 vat of vegetarian noodles, 1 shirt + hat, 1 bottle of cooking oil, 1 bottle of soy sauce). The total amount of gifts is 75,000,000 VND. Thus, the total amount of medicines and gifts is 105,000,000 VND.

The gift is small and simple, but it contains the loving heart of monks, doctors and near and far Buddhists, warming the heart of difficult residents here.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue sent a dharma gift to doctors and local authorities, including a book “60-year essential memories of Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh”, "Introductions of Hoang Phap monastery", a necklace with Buddha statue, a chain of beads.

The charity trip of giving gifts and medicine were full in the joy of everyone.
