Donating a disinfection system at Long Thoi B Primary School, Ben Tre

The ceremony has in the presence of Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Quoc Thoi Pagoda; Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists in Hoang Phap Pagoda Charity Group. The representative of government was Mr. Le Van Truong, Secretary of Long Thoi Commune; Mr. Truong Van Phu, Chairman of Long Thoi commune; Mr. Le Thanh Phuong, Chairman of the Front of Long Thoi Commune and the donors in HCMC, Headmaster, teachers and pupils of Long Thoi B Primary School.

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue, Head of Charity Board at Hoang Phap Pagoda expressed his gratitude to the leaders of local authority made favorable condition for the charity group to share with the school. Accordingly, the delegation mobilized Buddhists to support a whole-body disinfection chamber and gave some gifts to the teachers and students at the school.

After that, Mr. Lê Văn Trường as the Secretary of Long Thoi commune paid a tribute to the delegation and the donors for caring and supporting the teachers and pupils at here. This is also the first disinfection equipment to be present in Cho Lach district, Ben Tre. In this charity phase, the team presented a whole body disinfection machine 20,000,000 VND and 38 gift portions to teachers. Each gift with an amount of VND 1,180,000, including: envelope of 1,000,000 VND, clothes, masks.

On this occasion, the delegation supported 545 gift ones for the pupils. Each of them is 70,000 VND, including clothes, masks. The total expense charity is 105,000,000 VND, including the contribution of Tan Chau Bao's family and other benefactors.

This is a practical support for disease control and is a humane action that needs to be replicated to help prevent the current Covid-19 epidemic.
