Charity at Hung Phap Pagoda, Dong Nai

Accompanying with the organizing of the Ullambana Great Ceremony, Hung Phap Pagoda donated 100 portions of gift to difficult residents in the locality on the afternoon of Aug.18th, 2019 (lunar July 18th, the year of the Pig).

At 15:00, the program of giving gifts officially took place. On behalf of Hung Phap Pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam An had some dharma words to the participants. Everyone's suffering is real, it could be a physical suffering or the mental one. Although we faces difficult situations, we must try to live morally. Material poverty is not important, but if being the mental is the worst in life.

After the monk’s speech, attendees orderly received gifts. Each of gift included: A barrel of instant noodles, 10 kilograms of rice, cooking oil, sugar, monosodium glutamate ,.etc, worth about 250,000 VND. This is the contribution of the donators at Hung Phap pagoda on the occasion of Ullambana season.
