Attending the inauguration Ceremony of bridge Thoai Ha 4 in An Giang

On the morning of Aug. 19th, 2019 (lunar July 19th, the year of the Pig), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists at Hoang Phap Pagoda came Thoai Son, An Giang to attend the inauguration ceremony of bridge Thoai Ha 4.

It is known the bridge Thoai Ha 4 will cross Thoai Ha canal, connecting traffic two communes of Dinh My and Dinh Thanh. The bridge is 76 long meters, 3.7  wide meters and has a payload of 5 tons. The bridge construction project costs over 7.2 billion VND from the budget of the district and two communes' residents. In particular, the Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda supported 100,000,000 VND to build the bridge.

At the beginning, the music show praised the homeland beauty and heroic tradition at Thoai Son. Next, it is the speech of the leadership of Thoai Son district, leader of Dinh Thanh commune. After that, the district leadership gave a merit certificate to the Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda, organizations and individuals supporting the construction the bridge, 24 staffs in the team of bridge construction.

At noon on the same day, the group came Quy Nguyen temple (Dinh Thanh, Thoai Son) to make offering.

Next, the delegation went own house of Mr. Nguyen Van Sau Nho (40 years old) in hamlet Dong An 2, Tan Thanh town, Nga Bay town, Hau Giang  to visit and encourage the family. Through this, the Monk advised his family, let stop killing creatures, respect living of all beings, vegetarian, recite the Buddha's name, do good deeds, etc,. the life will be peaceful and happy. Then, the monk gave a dharma gift to their family and the ones around.
