In the morning October 11th , 2017 (Lunar October 24th - Rooster Year), Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Tan Hiep Commune, Hoc Mon District came to Can Tho city.

The group attended at Quang Duc pagoda in Can Tho city for the 27th death anniversary of Abbot Thich Buu Lai, the Mastertransferring Triratna and Five Precepts for Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hue. The charity group burned incense sticks, offered  dedicate donation to the  Buddha. The monks of Quang Duc pagoda and Venerable Thich Tam Hue cited and went around the Abbot tower to show their respect for "Grateful and Repayable".

 Then, the group bought birds to set free. The scene here was bustling when we arrived. The group got 1000 swallow birds being worth 3,500,000 dong. It seems that the birds are surprised and happy. They hustled and whistled when getting out of the cage. The group took refuge to them and reciting Buddhas to return them to the nature. The group also bought 2,650 kilograms of fish, 600 kilograms of snails with the total money of 60,800,000 dong from Buddhists such as Ms Nguyen Thi Bich Huong, Tinh Viet, Ms Duc Duong, Minh Chat ashrams (in Can Tho) and Buddhists in domestic and foreign countries. The charity trip ended in the joy of all.
