Announcement - The Cancellation of the Trip to Rain-Retreat Schools

Dear laymen, laywomen and Buddhists!

 

According to the urgent dispatch number: 2869/ UBND-VX of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City about the temporary suspension of service facilities and restriction of crowds to prevent and combat Covid-19 epidemic and Official Letter No. 137/ HDTS-VP1 of the Director Board of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha on strengthening measures to prevent and fight against Covid-19 epidemics in the new situation.

The Charity Board of Hoang Phap Pagoda announced:

PLEASE CANCEL  THE TRIP TO RAIN-RETREAT SCHOOLS on August 9th, 2020 (June 20th, Year of Mouse).

The Charity Committee will send money by post to make offerings to rain retreat schools, such as Hoang Phap Pagoda in Hoc Mon, Vietnam Buddhist University in Binh Chanh, Truc Lam Phuong Nam Monastery in Can Tho, Phuoc Long Pagoda in Can Tho.

In case the Buddhist does not want to offer by transferring money to the four summer retreats due to the cancellation of the trip, the Charity Committee will request a refund.

Please come to Hoang Phap Pagoda Office to return your car card and receive your registered money to donate to four rain retreat schools in 2020. The deadline is August 23rd, 2020 (July 5th, Year of Mouse).
