Racticing Right Mindfulness

Life is a flow that takes breath with bustling and hurry. To have a quiet minute in reality, people need to practice right mindfulness. What is right mindfulness? Why do people need right mindfulness in life? In addition, how is the result that people get from the benefits of mindfulness? Is it a question that we should start out to adjust our mind?
 

Racticing Right Mindfulness

 

 The mindfulness is a cultivation to adjust our mind\r\nback to stay in present time. It helps people control and be conscious on the\r\nthings that are happening and existing. People also know that is the most\r\nimportant thing in current moment. The reason why we have to practice\r\nregularly, maintain mindfulness in daily life is recognizing about life of our\r\nown. Controlling our thought, statement, action and directing them to good and\r\nhappy things to make the peaceful realm for everybody and ourselves.

In society, because of livelihoods, people have to think,\r\nintend and work hard to take care of their family. When working, if people\r\nrecognize their action and work, the result will get higher. Otherwise, if they\r\ndo not have mindfulness in their job, the result will reduce, or even be in\r\ntough failure. As well as when a doctor is to carry out an operation, he has to\r\nconcentrate on his thought and action. If he does not have mindfulness in his\r\njob, the knife-edge can take patient’s life just only an inattentive and\r\nsubjective minute. If a driver is lack of mindfulness and awareness when\r\ndriving, the accident will happen easily, etc. That’s why mindfulness and\r\nawareness is extremely essential in our life.

For a cultivator, keeping mind back to stay in the present\r\ntime is very important. The mindfulness practice method in each behavior,\r\naction or in the way of walking, standing, sleeping and sitting, which is also\r\ninstructed to practice in a careful way. Those stateliness, standard behavior\r\nand basic things make the virtual and merit of a home-leaving Buddhist. If\r\nhe/she does not have mindfulness and awareness, their mind is easily attracted\r\nby five desires and six gunas. When the eyes see the beauty and the ears hear\r\nthe sweet word, the nose smells perfume, the tongue tastes delicious, the mind\r\nwill be attracted to pleasure that we cannot realize. Practicing mindfulness\r\nwill help us to stay in the moment, protect senses that are not disturbed by\r\ndesires. This is the background in all Dharma. Keeping precepts is also one of\r\nthe methods to set the mind return to mindfulness and awareness.\r\nBhiksu-Bhiksuni Precept Law instructs these things very carefully. Every\r\ngesture, speech or action has verses, mantras that remind and bring the mind\r\nback to reality. When hearing bell sound, immediate chanting is heard softly:

\r\n\r\n
When hearing the bell sound, we throw away all worries
\r\n\r\n
Our  mind is calm, the body is peaceful and the smile\r\nappears
\r\n\r\n
The breath follows the bell back to mindfulness
\r\n\r\n
In our mind garden, wisdom flowers bloom joyfully
\r\n\r\n

Therefore, mindfulness helps us to eliminate our anxiety,\r\ncontrol our body, mouth and thought, which does not permit us to live in a\r\nworldly way free. When eating, cutting hair, sleeping and so on, we also have\r\nchants and mantras to make our mind stay in awareness regularly.

\r\n\r\n

Buddha’s Dharma has many ways to make our mind to be\r\nmindfulness and awareness. When reciting, our mind will stay in every Sutra,\r\nevery chant, we will shelter in Buddha’s teachings deeply. When mastering them,\r\nour cultivation will not be in bias. On the contrary, our belief to Buddha is\r\nmore profound. Because humans’ realization is not the same, which the Buddha\r\ndepends on to teach such different Dharma sects as reciting, praying, chanting,\r\netc. Those essential things only just discipline our mind in awareness and\r\npeace at present time.

 Cultivation is a popular sect that is easy to practice\r\nas well as suitable for many different sense levels. When breathing in, we know\r\nthat we are inhaling and reciting “Namo A”. When breathing out, we meditate\r\nthat we are exhaling and reciting “Amitabha Buddha”. It is each statement, word\r\nhas to be concentrate clearly that messy, and bad thoughts will cleanse slowly.\r\nThe peaceful and restful mind will appear.

\r\n\r\n
Praying and breathing are merged
\r\n\r\n
Extreme happiness is in the moment.
\r\n\r\n

In Teaching Sutra, the Buddha taught his disciples: “Bhiksu,\r\ngood intimates, dharma guardians, believing supporters should not ignore\r\nmindfulness. Remember mindfulness means cleaning the sorrow; losing mindfulness\r\nrelates to empty merits. If our mindfulness is powerful, we are not afraid that\r\nsix desires will kill ourselves. It is as though when a soldier wore a copper\r\narmor entering the fight, he will not frighten anything. That is behavior of\r\nconcentration on mindfulness”.

\r\n\r\n

In summary, in our life or on our way of practicing for\r\nenlightenment, we always need a mindfulness and awareness to consciously\r\nconsider and overcome the difficulty as well as self-control our body and mind.\r\nPracticing mindfulness is also practicing precepts, concentration and wisdom.\r\nThis is the right way to help us be stable and liberate in current life.
