Late Most Ngo Chan Tu s' Death Anniversary at Hoa Phuc Pagoda

In the spirit of gratitude and repayment of the Buddha's disciples to the Founder who had openly enlightened and created a pure, solemn pagoda, in the morning of Nov. 26th, 2020, Hoa Phuc pagoda in the Hanoi city solemnly celebrated the 32nd death anniversary of the late Most Ngo Chan Tu, the Founder of Hoang Phap Pagoda (HCMC) passed away. Many Buddhists, local authorities and residents inside and outside Hanoi have come to attend.
Immediately after the ending of 10-day Temporary Ordination Retreat which took place from Nov. 16th-25th, 2020 (lunar Oct. 2nd-11th), the monks and the mass at pagoda reunited with the preparation for the death anniversary.
Before entering the main rite in the morning, Buddhists came to the lecture hall to enjoy the music.
At 9:00 am, all participants stood with their hands clasped respectfully to welcome venerables and the Founders’ robe and bowl to celebrate the great ceremony.
After introducing the program in a serene solemn atmosphere, everyone took a minute of silence to commemorate the Late Most who devoted his life to a Dharma career to benefit beings. Many Buddhists were touched when they watched the video and listened to Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa, the abbot of Hoa Phuc Pagoda, proclaims a biography of the Patriarch's life and his career in propagating Dharma.
During the ceremony, Junior Ven. also had a few words to encourage the Buddhists’ practice. The death anniversary rite of the Great Patriarch and the ancestors' merit commemoration was held at Hoa Phuc pagoda, under the witness of the Buddhists, monks and nuns taking place in a happy and peaceful atmosphere.
