The rite of burial in water and freeing creatures in Ba Lua port, Hoc Mon

Accepting the Buddhists' invitation at No 37 C, Xuan Thoi Son, Hoc Mon, Ho Chi Minh City, Ven. Thich Tam Hue and Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda came Ba Lua port in Cu Chi to chant doctrine praying for rebirth, release creatures and bury in water for Nguyen Thi Lien's soul on December 1st, 2019 (on Nov. 6th, the year of the pig).

Reportedly, because of disease of old age, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lien passed away on November 12th, the year of the dog, at the age of 83 years old.

At the ceremony, Ven. praised the descendants' spirit of filial piety toward the parents. The monk reminded offspring  who must know how to love each other, return to rely on the Three Jewels, follow the parents' example. Moreover, they should eat vegetarian food, recite the Buddha name, do goodness, etc., then transfer these merit to father and mother early being born in the Buddha’s realm.

After that, the delegation and their family members performed the ritual of freeing creatures.

Next, the delegation went to Dau Tieng wildlife conservation station in Thanh Tuyen commune, Dau Tieng, Binh Duong to hand over two 1.8 kg earth pythons of rare animals. All of them were injected with drugs and brought to drop in the U Minh Thuong forest. By the way, Venerable donated 2,000,000 VND to the Station to buy food for the animals fed at here.
