Phan Hoai Tu Hao passed away on February 8th 2019 (January 4th Pig Year) when he was 23 years old, which was very young age. He was in the army and was sent home by the military unit to celebrate Tet with his family. He suffered from a severe illness. Although his family dedicatedly cured his disease, but he couldn’t overcome it. There were enough of his relatives and friends in the ceremony. By this chance, Junior Venerable Tam Hue had a few words to share with everyone.

From his death, his family saw impermanence, karmic cause and effect. Please take care of his father and guide him to know the Three Jewels and to take refuge in the Three Jewels because "the Three Jewels are the most fertile fields in life ". Please practice and preserve the five precepts: not killing, not stealing, not adultery, not lying and not drinking. Knowing how to cultivate merit in this life, not to kill but to release creatures, to be vegetarian, to recite the Buddha's name, to do good and to evade evil.

Everyone was very happy to promise to follow his words. Venerable Thich Tam Hue gave books "A Brief Definition of Hoang Phap Pagoda", books "Spring Gifts", Buddha necklaces, beadings of Venerable Abbot.

The group purchased a number of amourornis phoenicurus birds, dendrocygna javanica birds chanted, recited Buddha's name and took refuge in them.   Everybody in the delegation released creatures.

On the way back, the delegation bought some catfish and carp, chanted, recited Buddha's name, took refuge in these small creatures and then returned them to the nature in cool water streams at Binh My ferry, Cu Chi.

Looking at the birds flying freely in the sky, the fish swimming comfortably in the water, we felt completely joyful, prayed silently to the world of ending suffering, and the world of enlightenment

We sent gratitude to donators, the Buddhists inside and outside the country for contribution, working together to make the trip of the delegation successful.
